This weekend BlissfullySarcastic and I hosted our second chat event for the emote community in the emoticon chatroom #WeEmote. Once again we got a good turn out with over 30 emoticonists and emote lovers joining in during the event. As it is so close to Hallowe'en we decided to give a spooky theme to our event to help get people in the holiday spirit.
Treasure hunt
The event started off with an emoticon themed treasure hunt. The 'treasure' in question was a specific emoticon which could be located through a given clue. The first deviant to correctly solve the clue and find the given deviation was awarded 20 points. With 13 questions this gave deviants 13 chances to win. Below is a summary of the clues and winners.

Controversy had surrounded this DD, so why not get past the hate and show its creator, Kohaku0827, some love by telling them how wonderful it truly is!

Cupid's arrow strikes in the weirdest of places, non weirder or more cool-looking than the zombiemote apocalypse seen in SparklyDest's stamp.

Emote game!

Hello Emoticonists! Sorry to steal the show, but I have something you may find interesting!

I'm Ax, and I'd like to play a game. Every month I'll give you a new emote of a famous person or character, along with 3 hints and a quote. All you have to do is guess who it is! It's that simple! Simply note your guesses to me, Ax, (), and the winner will be randomly picked from the correct answers. That person gets a spotlight feature in this journal the next month! The only rules are-

1. One guess per person. You can submit multiple times, but only the most recent guess will be counted.

2. Once you win, you can't win again for 3 months, just to give everyone a chance to be featured.
